GMX Project 87410 | SR-874 Ramp Connector to SW 128th Street:

Design-Build Services delivered a new ramp connection from the southern terminus of SR-874/Don Shula Expressway to SW 128th Street, including widening of SW 128th Street from two to four lanes between SW 122nd Avenue and SW 137th Avenue, to improve mobility and reduce congestion in West Kendall/Southwest Miami-Dade County. Total project cost was approximately $108.7 million.

GMX GEC | Lighting & Signage Maintenance Support (across SR 836/Dolphin Expressway, SR 112, SR 924/Gratigny Expressway, NW 138th Street, SR 874, and SR 878).

This task covers ongoing maintenance oversight of lighting systems and signage across the Greater Miami Expressway Agency's major expressway network to ensure consistent performance and safety, encompassing detailed inspections of lighting infrastructure (wiring, poles, load centers, handholes, and protective elements), contract management, issuance of work orders and maintenance notices, and review/updating of lighting system plans to maintain regulatory compliance.

CEI FDOT 439999-2-62-01 - CEI Services for Savannas Preserve State Park.

. This CEI phase paired with construction FIN 439999-2-52-01 (Contract E4U88), covering the "Savannas Preserve State Park Gap" segment of the SUN Trail from Walton Road to Lennard Road, roughly 6.6 miles, in St. Lucie County work included a shared-use path with structure monitoring/inspection, concrete removal and sidewalk work, signing, pavement markings, and sod. CEI oversight involved contract administration, field inspection, and quality assurance to ensure the contractor's work met FDOT standards, coordinated with the Department of Environmental Protection given the project's location within the state park. The construction proposal budget estimate for this segment was approximately $8.64 million.

FDOT FIN# 448241-1-72-10 GEC Transp Operations D4. District Maintenance Office I595.

This is a task assignment under FDOT District 4's Traffic Operations Continuing for a 5-year term beginning August 2022, with a $5 million funding limit, providing in house engineering staffing embedded at the District Maintenance Office supporting I-595 operations. Services include data collection, GIS support, plan reviews, and various traffic operations studies and assessments to augment FDOT District 4 staff on an as needed basis.

GMX 83634. SR-836 Ramps.

GIS asset inventory services for a 4-mile stretch of SR-836/Dolphin Expressway tied to the New HEFT Ramp Connections project, using design files, survey data, mobile LiDAR, and GPS field collection to capture pre-construction conditions, then performed a post-construction LiDAR scan and survey to build a spatially accurate maintenance inventory. The team delivered a geodatabase meeting GMX operational standards with over 18 GIS layers covering Open Road Tolling, ITS, lighting, utility conduit, drainage/stormwater, signage, and road design elements.

GIS duties for this project included compiling a pre-construction asset inventory along the SR-874/SW 128th Street corridor using design files, survey data, mobile LiDAR, and GPS field collection, capturing features such as signalization, lighting, drainage, pavement/lane geometry ahead of the widening work. Following completion, the team performed a post-construction LiDAR scan and survey to update the inventory and confirm as-built conditions across the SW 122nd Avenue to SW 137th Avenue limits. The final deliverable was a geodatabase built to GMX operational standards, supporting asset management, maintenance tracking, and depreciation accounting for the new ramp connector and roadway widening.
